To meet the client's requirement, ISTS proposed a customized
Internet-based system which will collect artwork and text components
from advertisers, compress them into a single manageable archive which
will save countless man-hours in collection and verification of ads as
well as avoiding costly mistakes and manage the job right through to
the newspapers and magazine publishers.

OPOS Interface for Biometric Devices
ISTS developed the solution by using Microsoft’s OPOS technology, an implementation of
the UPOS standards. The solution acts as a translator between a device and the
applications or operating systems that use it. OPOS (OLE for Retail POS) is platform
independent and language neutral with a common device architecture that is international
and extends across vendors, platforms, and retail format.
